Lately I have been slowing down, making more deliberate, planned, worked and re-worked images. This is a painting I did today from several sketches on the same theme.
I think this is so beautiful, it reminds me of a mix between you and Jill. I do have to say the right arm sits funny with me because at first glance is seems like she's floating however she may seem like she's falling. I can't figure it out. I love it though, the color combination is beautiful.
Thanks for the comment, Alison. I'm not sure which arm you are talking about, though. Is it the one that you can see fully? I guess the ambiguity is intentional but I don't want it to be confusing! Glad to have a critique so that next time I'll be aware of it.
